Did you mean www.Gurneys.com? That's a seed & nursery company. There can't be apostrophes in domain names, so I figured this might be it.

You have to be careful because that's only one species of eucalyptus, and I'm pretty sure that's one of the ornamental varieties. There are over 600 species and very few that gliders eat, some are actually toxic.

How do we find out which are safe? I would love to get one of these if I could be sure it was a safe variety.

Someone had a list up a while ago, try doing a search. I looked on www.australiaplants.com They noted 2 species that were safe for suggies, but they had a disclaimer that basically said they weren't responsible for that info, so I don't know how you want to take that.

Eucalyptus Bridgesiana is the one that they most commonly frequent in the Australian wild.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yelclap.gif" alt="" /> Thanks for that link Faierie. I had the idea too of giving fresh Eucalyptus to gliders... I didn't realize there were so many varieties... I also didn't know where to get any...
It may be an ornamental variety but the silver dollar eucalyptus in the Gurney's catalog is on the safe list. I may go ahead an order some now...
