I guess this goes here... No, I'm not talking about my gliders shedding, I shed! If I ever wash my gliders' pouches with my clothes they always get my random hairs in them. I'm a little nervous about them getting tangled, even if it's only one or two hairs. But it's super funny when I find a hair and they are in the pouch, I gently pull it out making sure it's not caught on them and they HATE IT! Crab City!!! Haha. I think it's so funny. Does this happen to any of you ladies?

Yep, I have the same problem. I am constantly finding my hair on their stuff, though thankfully no problems yet.

I wash mine with the towels since I use HOT water with them. I'm a shedder too.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOOOO HOOOO, WHAT A RIDE!!!

I posted a question about this sorta thing a while back because my shedding literally will put a cat to shame I remember several replies saying that human hair isn't strong enough to really cause a problem with them; though we've only had our girls for three days so I don't have experience in that yet lol.

I wouldn't be comfortable with hair in with them, even if it's only one strand.

I agree, if they were to swallow a strand, this could cause some serious problems for these little fellas. I too shed....and I'm always worried that I'm going to miss one, so before I put blankies, or pouches in after they've been washed I inspect inside and out. Thank you for bringing this subject up! I'm moving this to Health and Hygiene, I think you will get better replys there.
