For example: you get up around this time, do whatever,go to work. Then come home and give snacks and such and run around with bonding pouch. Eventually, dinner and tent time plus extra night activities. thanks

I have a question to add to this thread because it's related. If I go to school at around 7:00am and don't get home until 5:30pm (because of lacrosse), I would still be able to give the necessary attention to a glider right, seeing as they are nocturnal.
Thanks, David

Dave, I leave for school 4 days a week at 7:30 and work at 7:00. And I don't get back until 6:00 almost every night, and I find time for the sugars. No worries, you should be fine!

I think you should be fine as long as you can find 2 hrs or so between 5 and the time you go to bed. As for me...... Mon through thursdays I wake up at 650. I turn on a small light to signal to them to start settling down. Then around 730 I turn on all the lights so they go to sleep. Then when I leave at 8 I take them to work and they stay there all day until 430 when I get off. On my lunch break they get a little snack of my fruit. At dinner they get another snack. Then I put the pouch in the cage and turn the lights down in my room. I let them come out if they want while I exercise or take care of my things. At 9 they get to come out in my room for play time until I go to bed at 10:50.
Fri through sunday I keep a similar schedule but on those days my hrs vary so they get to sleep in some.
Hope this helps

Does turning down the lights get them to wake up more? hmmmm. I might have to think about that one. Seems I never see them because they dont wake up till late. Ill try that.

The lights things doesn't always work. Mine (unless I force the issue) sleep late and get up around 11pm and don't go to sleep until 8 or 9am. I am working with them on switching this. Their cage faces a western view window. There is a really good amount of sunlight even in the morning. They are still up. Here the past few months it has been getting dark around 6pm or so and they could care less! Stubborn little monkeys! My routine is leave for work around 0630. Come home for lunch around 11 or noon. I put them in a pouch and take them back to work with me. They stay in their pouch until it is time to wake up. I have been trying to do 8:30-9pm. Then they get put in their cage with no pouches so they can do their business and wake up a little. Then we have some playtime and every few days we try to do tent time, but it has been a while since I have done that. Then we get food ready while they run all over me and hubby, or friends who happen to be over! Then they go back in the cage to eat and I go to bed. Works pretty good. Once I get them going to sleep in the morning, I will take them with me when I leave for work.

I get up around 7 or 8 let them out to run around till about 9:30 i take them to school with me mondays and wednesdays. I'm home by 5 at the latest every day and have them with me pretty much all day. I feed them around 10 and give some more play time, though sometimes they like to sleep a little longer. Which is why we have started letting them out in the mornings. I go to bed a little earlier than i used to because i am pregnant and tired all the time. Sometimes they come out and play during the day while i am at work. I work in the video production studio of my university so with the dimmed lights and all they wake right up and everyone loves to play with them. As long as they get their play time i dont think it really matters if its in the evening or not.

My routine is: IF I wake up before 7 I go down and talk with Zayne and give him treats. If not, I wake up around 8-9 (depending on if my daughter sleeps in or not) I get my daughter in her highchair so I can go downstairs and get Zayne in his bonding pouch. I carry him around for an hour and then put him back. While my daughter naps, I carry him more and put him back when she gets up (this equals about 3-4hours of being carried around). Everytime I put him back in his cage, he gets a yogurt drop for being so good while in the pouch. At around 7pm i make his food so his BML has time to thaw before 8pm when I take his food down to him and play with him until around 9-9:30pm.

I have to say that I am totally jealous… as I have not taken my little one to work and relly don’t think it would work out for me However as for my daily routine… Wake up around 6:30 basically say hello and talk to my little one if they are awake at that time – WORK home around 5:30 – still bonding with mine so I get them out – all in one pouch – and do the bonding thing…. Till Mango decides to get up around 8pm or so, he play with me or my partner, and soon Sage decides she wants to see what is going on … I am still working with Sage and her brother, Surge to bond... Sage has been much more open.. If I have learned anything it is that each glider is individual and has their own time table for everything … lol
