Okay, I want to make sure this isn't just me... This is the second time I've gotten a reptarium and I've had the same problem both times. The mesh doesn't fit very well over the frame. I have to tug the mesh and wiggle the frame and all sorts of non-scence to get the mesh on the frame. I've seem pictures of other peoples repts and their mesh looks like it actually fits somewhat loosely over the frame. Do I just have bad luck and keep getting defective ones or are they all like this?

Did you buy the whole thing or make the frame yourself??
If it is the frame that comes with it and it really truly seems too big you could just trim the poles yourself. We used my husband's uncle's chop saw for. Ours, but its out of pvc, if you do wind up triming it realize that youre trimming 2 poles and that is double the amount coming off. I had a tendency to forget that.

I bought the whole things. I don't really want to trim the frame because it's a close fit. If I trim it, I will most likely be too small... This frusterated me to no end because this is my third rept. (I used to have 2 38 gal ones for traveling) and I keep seeing the same problem over and over.

I have a 65 gallon one that I just bought... I also used to have 2 38 gallon ones. I got them for traveling, but they are such a pain that I might not even use them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

ah, we just had this problem too with the 65g. Turn the PVC around and then put the mesh on. We felt real stupid too, but then it just slid right now. It doesnt look like its a different size really, but it is.

ok, i'll explain that a little better, the longest side should lay on the floor. (the 30" side). the 27" side goes vertically. Hope that helps.

Thank you much, it's all better now. I have the frame together wrong. That's kind of a stupid manufactering idea on the reptarium companies part, whatever.
