I'm not good at explaining these things, but it just means that they have a 25% chance of carrying the gene. In other words one out of four joeys born will carry the gene. I have a 66% het paired with a normal so all of their joeys will be 33% het. Like say you have a 100% het their joeys will be 50% het. Hope I helped. I'm not good at genetics.

I'd go into the science, but I'd confuse myself if I did that =P
Like partyofsix said, it's just the chance that it will carry that gene.
A 33% BEW het isnt necessarily a het. There's only a 33% chance that it's a het.

Like say you have a 100% het their joeys will be 50% het I really HATE this stuff... I thought if you had two 100% hets your babies would be 66% Unless you had one 100% het and one 66% het and then they would be 50% if you had one leu and one het your joeys would be 100% het I could be WAY off on this, wouldnt be the first time...Someone needs to make up a cheat sheet chart and then ask Eddie or someone to link it!! Always Always gives me a headache...

I really HATE this stuff... I thought if you had two 100% hets your babies would be 66% That is because if you have two 100% hets breeding together, one out of four will be white, and three out of four will be normal colored (with two of the tree being hets)...so if two out of three are hets, that equals 66%. I don't know if any of that made senses
