i might be taking in a bonded pair of females. Theyre around 1.5-2 years old. Im wondering if it would be bad to split them up and only take one in, since i do have that option. I was initially looking for a play mate for my male, binky, whos about 9 months old. I was looking for an older female and both of them fit the bill. If i took just one, would she be to depressed to bond with binky? i was hoping to maybe get a joey eventually. Any advice would rock

If they are bonded why not get both of them? It would be sad to split them up

Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.

I could have missed the pain

hmm.. if she is bonded then I don't think I would want to separate the two of them.. would it be possible for you to take the two of them?.. are they related?, I started out with a trio of gliders.. one intact male, two unrelated females.. I now have Lil Squirt, which is a joey from one of the girls, then there are the other two boys, which I am selling to a lady that lives about an hour from me.. My girls were bonded.. when I got them .. I originally was just looking for one glider.. male or female didn't matter.. I just needed a buddy for my boy because he was alone after the death of his brother. but, now I've got a growing family...we're keeping Lil Squirt and will have joeys headed to pouch soon.. from one of the girls.. not sure about the other one yet..

i want both of them, but i was wondering if getting a bonded pair would defeat the purpose of getting them as play buddies for binky. Im getting excited

well.. with me.. it was love at first site lol.. I had a long car ride home.. (6 1/2 hours) and on the way home I let my boy (who went up in my pocket) crawl on the outside of the cage smelling the girls.. one of the girls (Rascal) was showing a lot of interest in him and then they kissed through the bars.. it was cute.. and Panga.. she at first was like "oh no.. not a boy".. but, she came around by the time we got home... I let her in his cage and let her climb around and smell stuff.. and I went in with all three of them in the cage... they all immmediately dove for the same pouch... (I know I skipped a lot of steps for introducing gliders.. but, when I did that I didn't have this board).. I was also in bad shape at that time.. just lost my Baby (pic of boy in avatar).. then less than a week after that I had surgery... and so I was off of work and after like two weeks of Tipsy being alone.. and it being hard for me to take him out on my own.. he was getting depressed.. Although I would carry him in my pocket with me.. day and night.. while I was laying around except the first three days.. I didn't even get to see him.. except when my fiance had walked me down there... I couldn't walk the stairs on my own.. and when I did walk w/help I was getting sick because the anesthesia hadn't worn off completely.. I was so miserable.. and then the 6 1/2 hour ride to.. and 6 1/2 hour ride from.. boy.. the sickness I went through to get these girls.... lol.. and its been so great having the girls.. Tipsy is much happier with them.. he's bonded w/both of them.. and they were bonded before getting w/him...

ive adopted both little girls and theyre sweeter than candy. Songo, is the smaller of the two but WAY more adventurous and she talks more. Ruby is our big red, and she weighs in at a whopping 86 grams. Shes more shy and doesnt really like comin outa her pouch
