I was wondering this is probably stupid but I have been down with the flu and my gliders won't hardly let me touch them, they sniff me and run Do they know I am sick? or just avoiding me? I miss playing with them and hey I am up all night pretty much, would be great play time but no way they want me. Not even for a mealie, Which has NEVER happened.

my husband has been sick and GIzmo usually jumps right on him but avoided him like the plague....
Now I"M the one who's sick and he actually crabbed at me when i tried to reach for him (first time in forever)
so I think so!

i am not sure of this, but i have heard others say that gliders are very sensitive to sensing illnesses in their own kind and other animals, so may be true of people too. but its only what i heard, don't know this for fact. sure someone in this group knows about this subject, and will respond to you and give you some info on it. i hope you get better soon, sorry your feeling so bad. i just got over that darn ole flu, and it took me 3 weeks to feel better.
so do get well soon. smile
