trying to find anything or info on...i guess its called colonizing gliders? but not sure? am trying to find ways that i can work with drago and he would be happy & content. i was given the option to adopt female and put with drago, so that he would not feel alone and without.. so here is my cage arrangements, i have one very large cage that fills half a room in my house. i really don't have space for another cage in that room and i don't have controlled temps in the other rooms (we set it that the cage room is controlled separate from house, due to usage of air conditioning in summer time, and to prevent drafts and cold blowing on my gliders), so the 2nd cage idea for one pair, and the other cage for other pair is not applicable in my situation. soooo, can they all 4 be put in the one large cage in some way to live all together peacefully? any help is appreciated...thank you..

Since the cage is that large, can you create a partition to divide it into 2 cages? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nixweiss.gif" alt="" />

You can very very carefully give the foursome idea a try, BUT, there is no guarantee that three won't form a trio and still leave poor drago out in the cold. I like Tedscastle's idea of trying to divide the cage and settle for two pairs.

we could divide the cage, will take some figurings and another door access, to be able to get in it either compartment needed? i will have to ask my husband on that one and see if that can be done also. so you all think it better to make this division and just pair them up separately, rather then try to put 4 together? i take it gliders have problems with new members alot?? thank you for helping me...

I would put a divider in the cage and keep the two pairs separate.

I think I would try the divider and then if they all seem to be getting along in a few months or how ever long it takes, then try introducing them all together. If successful, you could then remove the divider.
