Ok so I am not sure if this is where I should be putting this so mods please move if needed.

Ok so Hope is getting big enough to be put into a cage and I am planning on having her brother chow chow be with her. So I am in need of help with what to do. Here is a list of what I am hoping to get help with.

Size of cage: I know that she will need a not so high cage so I am wondering what size is best for her since she just has her 1 eye.

Accessories: What are some fun, safe ones for her? Also I read to do a bunch of shelves.

I really want to make her life as comfy, fun, safe and loving as possible since she has had such a hard start.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks

I could be totally off on this one, but I would imagine she would still get around fine with 1 eye and wouldn't need too many modifications as long as the other eye wasn't affected...

...I say this because we have a glider who is quite blind due to bad cataracts (caused by improper diet before we adopted him)...he is in a normal cage with another normal glider, and he gets around just fine, albeit a bit more cautiously.

Best of luck to you and your gliders!

I have a one eyed glider and she gets along fine in a large cage (30" x 55" x 18") with her cagemate. I don't change the cage accessory setup too much because her depth perception is lacking.

Thank you all for the help. I am very excited to get them into a cage where they can play. I will have to get pics once I have it set up. grin
