To all you breeders. Will a neutured male still try to have sex with a receptive female? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I believe they will but I am not entirely sure about that. I have a neutered male in with two females and I haven't seen them do that since about a month after he was neutered. But I just may not be seeing them, doesn't mean they don't.

It depends on the male and how he was neutered. Some males totally loose their sex drive after neutering, especially if the whole pompom is removed. If the pompom is left though, the males hormone level tends to remain higher. They often still have their bald spots and try to mate, though it does them little good, lol.
