Well I have gone an messed up. I have a non breeding cage with my pretty Stormy and Stitch. I added 2 joeys last year planning to neuter both before they were 5 months old. Well Stormy ended up with joeys in pouch. I can tell you I was bummed out but I deal with it. Problem is who is dad? I called and made the date to fix the boys. The weekend before i had a 3 day trip so my son took care of the gliders. James know gliders so that was not a problem. When I got home I saw Stormy had pulled her joeys. I was again sad but this was probably a good thing for us. She was the one who had triplets her first time and i didn't want to breed her anyway. Well 2 days before the boys went in to be fixed they were both on her again. Here we are back to 2 ITP and who is dad? can it be both? At this time i think we have a het and a white but I wont really know till they are OOP. Kaleb is a WFB and Lil Dude is a 66% het. I thought Lil Dude NOT to carry the gene's for BEW. At this time I don't think Kaleb had white in his line.
Lil Dude has a brother (his mom has joeys every 12 weeks like it or not so I fixed dad when the boys went in) he was 8 weeks Christmas day and now just about 3 months HE has a small bold spot. These joeys are maturing way to fast! It is not over either. Lil Dudes mom is about ready to have another joey (I hope the last for her poor girl)
I think we are the ones causing this. they don't know hardship. I think it plays in to the breeding somehow.
any input or advice????

Cyndie, unfortunately, there's really no way to know who the father is in that situation I have heard of joeys maturing as young as 3 months oop, so I'd recommend getting the joey whose bald spot is already showing neutered as soon as your vet is willing. Other than that, I don't really know what advice to give, sorry...

The funny thing is one or the other of the boys has been in a pouch by them self the last few days. Today I went to get the lone male for some love time and to my surprise it was Stormy by her self. She was cleaning her pouch and I can see one is still white for now. If this plays out right I can get a white from Lil Dude and a WFB from Kaleb so I'd know each has a different dad Think I'll get that lucky?? IF I did the math right they breed the 30th of OCT. 16 day to crawl ITP and 70 day to come OOP would be the 25th of this month. SO about 10 days still (maybe since with gliders nothing goes as I tell it too) Nugget is getting fixed the 22nd. if this doesn't work I will invent chastity belts for the girls!
