I'm looking for some toys to furnish my glider's home so that it will be ready when I pick him up, I was wondering what types of toys are recommended for them and if someone can point me in the right direction? Thanks!

i think as far as the ones that are liked the best i think that truely is an issue of one glider likes it and others dont. Some like bird toys some dont. some like swings others dont pay attention to it. So pretty much it seems to be a trial and error thing.

ok, well, i would get them a swing, treat pots, a wheel, hammocks, chains, links (gliders like to carry things with their tails). and for tent time a feather teaser, baby toys, anything with bells on it.
Wheel deffinetatly. Then anything with bells on it, something to jump and climb on, and a spot to stop and take a break up high. You cover those bases you will be in good shape when your new one comes home. Then you can judge their personality some and start going crazy buying all the toys you love, oops, they love... lol...

All three of my gliders love the wheel, not doubt about that!
Other favorites that sort of vary between the three are barrell of monkeys (my little girl gets in the barrell and rolls around ), feathers (two of mine like the big feathers and the other one likes smaller feathers), fake plants or leaves, and little cats toys (like the balls either with bells or the crinkly ones, jacks, and mice).
My boys love their foraging unit from Sugarae's Attic. I put ther fruits/veggies or treats, or toys inside and they go crazy getting them out. I'll attach a picture of that to show you.
Besides that, it's up in the air what they'll like. My little girls likes hanging fleece ropes but my boys like branches better. Just experiment and I'm sure you'll find some great things. Try baby toys too. One one of my boys just loved this doll house I had and he would go in through the door and to the different levels.

LuckyYou Gliders! That's me and I specialize in custom, one of a kind toys. My ad is on Gliders Things, let me know if your interested. I have a special going on this month.
Fake vines can be lots of fun, and make their house all puuurty! (ok, until they strip off all the leaves...lol.)
When finding faux vines, just make sure that there is nothing on them that can be torn off and swallowed, or chewed off and choked on...IE: little plastic berries, insides of flowers, etc... Also, try to find vines with no wire in them (all plastic)... and its always good to check the vine with a little bit of water, to make sure the vines are colorfast and dont have dye that runs when wet, in case they put them in their little mouths (might try taking a bottled water with you while shopping to dip a leaf in).
If your wee one should happen to strip off the leaves (hey, its fun!! ), you can always save the leaves and throw them in plastic buckets/bowls. etc, the leaves can be fun for them to romp and play/dig in. (I throw them in bowls, etc... and add small treats or toys in there for them to dig through and find.)
