Here is the link to hand feeding. Hand feeding I would separate the baby at this time until you know dad will be okay with the baby. I'm going to move this Post to breeding & Babies for more helpful advice. Good luck and my prayers are with you.

I would not put the joey in with the male. You probably shouldnt risk losing him as well. There are many sites and such to help with rejected joeys. You are going to have to hand feed him and raise him if you want him to live. Here are some sites that may help you. Good luck to you. http://www.toandfrogliders.com/This site has rejected joey supplies. http://www.skinhorse.net/gliders/joeys.htmlThis site has a recipe for joey BML. http://www.exoticnutrition.com/sugar-glider-products.htmThis site also has some nursing supplies.

If the Male Glider killed Mom, the joey won't stand a chance. Remove the joey immediately and begin hand feeding of baby BML.

Are you sure the male killed the mother or could it be that the female possibly died on her own and the male did post mortum damage? I would have pull the joey and take both the joey and the father to the vet as soon as possible. If you don't have any joey BML on hand or the ingredients to make joey BML, puppy milk replacer or ensure work as well...

More than likely the male did not kill the female. Females usually are not killed unless there are conflicts between other females or intact males inside a cage together. My guess is what Leyna said...the female was ill and died and the male was cleaning up the nest as gross as it sounds. Males make very good fathers. So...leave the baby with the father and handfeed the baby every four hours or so around the clock. Dad will clean the baby and keep him warm. In about two weeks...baby will be ready to wean early with a little help from you and his Father. To do this...at five weeks oop. feed the little one during the daytime hours only. Then in the evening...set out extra food and place baby at the food dishes with the father. In about a week or so...little one will be weaned and the daytime feedings can then be eleminated as baby will be six weeks oop.
