Hello All, my name is Melissa and I am waiting to get my sugar glide in the next month or so.. I am trying to get everything ready for it. I would like to make my own toys. I have some pretty good ideas and wanted to ask what all kinds of string or rope is okay to use? what does everyone use and how they like it? Thanks Melissa

I use satin ribbon and it is easy to work with, comes in all sorts of colors, isn't expensive and dangles good.

I was actually wondering about this myself. I got this stuff from walmart that I thought looked okay. I'm not sure what its called. For some reason I always thought it was called lanyard but I don't think thats right. Its clearish, rubbery, and kids use it to make those square shaped ropes they put on keychains and hang from their backpacks. lol if anyone has any idea what im talking about.. is it ok to use?

Its bondoogle thread, or plastic lacing. Its safe to use, but even my non-chewers seem adicted to chewing threw it and dumping beads all over their cage... Sigh... I have a hard time tying it tight enough without it breaking. Others have better luck with it though!
