How many gliders to a bonding pouch? #46094

I've been searching and haven't found an answer to this one online yet . I thought I'd put it out there to all who have glided before me. I have two gliders. One is decidedly more friendly and less afraid of me than the other. I don't know if that is relevant or not, but I thought I'd throw that in. Anyhow, should I attempt to carry both gliders in the same bonding pouch at the same time? In effect, should I try to bond to both at the same time? Should I bring both into my glider proofed bathroom at the same time? I've been taking them in the bathroom for "tent time" one at a time. Just wondering if there is a decided advantage to working with one at a time or if it is better to work with both. My gut instinct tells me one at a time until I get them to where they will both come to my hand and jump on me. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen!

One more thing, how long should I have each in the pouch? Fifteen minutes? An hour? What about if they are both together? I get up at 4:00am to get to work and don't get home until about 4:30-5:30pm, so I don't have too much time when I get home. I also have a family......anyhow, I'm teacher and summer vacation is about 9 school days away, so I'll have P-lenty of time to devote to bonding in the daytime.

You can have both little ones in their at the same time-as long as they are cagemates. If they are sleeping-it don't matter how long you keep them in there-they still bond with you...but if they are awake, they may get restless and want out.

Having both gliders in the bonding pouch at the same time shouldn't affect your bonding. I carry two of mine together.

The more time that you spend with them during the day the better. There are some days where mine will be with me from the time I wake up until the time that they wake-up. Then there are other days when I will only have them on me about an hour or so. Mine have gotten so used to being in their sissy pouch or down my shirt that it doesn't even phase them. In fact, I think they might like it better because it's all warm and cozy and they get little treats throughout the day.

If you are just starting out wearing them I probably wouldn't wear them for the whole day to begin with. Maybe give them a little time to adjust to what it is like being around you (how you walk, talk, etc.) and work your way to longer times so it isn't a huge shock to their routine or sleep schedule.

I agree, both at once both for the bonding pouch and play time shouldn't be a problem. I have a colony of 6 and have taken all 6 in a bonding pouch with me for a 6 hour day. They also have play time together.

Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.

I have so been wondering the same thing.. i think it totally depends on the size of the pouch… and if you can even get them in it to begin with.. lol
