I'm trying to think of a long version. [Bra + gliders] is pretty much all there is to it.
Carrie, your avatar looks like a headless glider. What's the story? Was s/he practicing somersaults for a tumbling exercise or something?

yep... my little ones are actually starting to grab at my shirt to get in my sports bra..
I'd suggest to use a sports bra, tube, or gym top (the ones that have the built in "sports bra") I started out by taking their pouch when they're sleeping, holding it up to my bra and gently pushing them up out of the pouch to try and "roll" them into the bra. once they were in there id stand in a bright room to keep them from coming out (they'd pop their head out, see how bright it was then curl up and go to sleep!) -Good Luck!

Good point, Nemesis. I forgot to mention that the sports bras are best. I have several "glider friendly" shirts that have a shelf bra built in. And I do try to wait until they've decided to go to sleep for the day and put them in the bra in a bright room. If they're still active, it's hard to keep them in there!

For me when first starting, I would put them in from the bottom. Their natural instincts are to climb.

My gliders like sportsbras or the tank tops wiht the built-in bra. I also just shoved mine down there. In the beginning I would put one of their small blankies in and a t-shirt over the bra so it was nice and dark for them and now they just stay put. I think the hardest part is trying to get them out.

ok so now i have to go buy darrel some sports bras great!!!! so pretty much a bra with support is out of the question here. Odd question does an underwire matter??? Im guessing for this to work i got to wear a bra. Will they bond faster than with the bonding pouch. I guess they might as they are really close to you. Heck i dont let my friends get that close but then i dont sneak my friends around the store under my shirt. Ok one time but that was after the bar.

I have been wondering about some of this too- I can't go without support... but I do have wireless sportsbras (big bust) and a few other bras that give some cleavage space and have soemthing in front, I think I'll start iwht one of those, and see what happens.. the one I'm wearing today is more of a lift, squish and seperate (minimizer) so I don't think they'd be too happy in there... but we'll see..

Quote:
Will they bond faster than with the bonding pouch.

I don't think they will necessarily bond faster, but I do think it strengthns the bond. Usually my guys sleep cuddled togther but when they are in my shirt they sleep in seprate areas cuddles around me. It's very endearing. As a side note, I would not leave the house with your gliders in your shirt until you are absolutely positive that they will not leave you. Even after a year of having my gliders bra trained, I only wear my gliders in my shirt around the house. If I need to leave the house then I put them in a secure bonding pouch. You never know what could happen that may scare your gliders while you are out. It's not worth it to me to take the chance of one of those horror stories of gliders getting loose in public happening to me. AS for types of bras, you'll have to find what works for you. I like sportsbras because they leave room for the gliders to curl up. It's amazing though, one of my gliders likes to squeeze himself into the smallest space in the bra to sleep, even if there is more room elsewhere.

So how many gliders do each of you carry in your bra at once? Right now I have Lily and the twins in there... but once when something happened to our air conditioner I had PREGNANT Lily, Stuey, AND Diego all shoved in there at once to get them warmed back up. And if you've ever seen pix of my gliders... Preggo Lily was huge and Dieago is always huge.

Oh good ...I was just looking into bra training today and had a couple of concerns . My girls, Stella and Luna, are new to me. Luna is fine in the bonding pouch and Stella still hates it. The biggest problem I have with the pouch is that its lower hanging, and being pregnant, I'm afraid I'm going to bump them against something (I'm only 3 months along and have the tinest pooch, but I'm already bumping into things !). I desperately want to get a Sissy Pouch and some little bra pouches (just cuz they're too cute lol) but according to the website, they're not taking orders right now . Anyway...I ONLY wear shirts with shelf bras of sports bras...so I was thinking that bra training would be great (for Luna at least...Stella eventually...she's still very scared and nippy and I'd rather not be nipped "there" ). My concern is that it is imperative that my gliders do not get loose in the house. We have tent time and bonding pouch time, and their cage is huge, but it is simply not possible for me to glider proof my entire house...and my home has an incredibly open floorplan. Another even bigger concern is that I have six cats who certainly wouldn't want to "eat" the girls, but would view them as toys and could easily injur or kill them within a matter of seconds should they escape . Those of you who have bra babies...how do you insure that they will stay put? Neither of my girls are bonded to me right now, and while Luna hates light and would most likely love the bra and stay put...Stella gets up and plays throughout the day and is terrified of me and hates being confined (she even prefers sleeping under a fleece "no-sew" blankie I made for her on the floor of her cage to a sleeping pouch ). I really want to bra train but am terrified of one of them getting away from me. I'd wear a tank top or t shirt over the sports bra (duh lol) but it would still be pretty easy for a glider to get out pretty quickly if she wanted to. I researched for so long before I got my girls and now that they're here I feel so ignorant! Help!

I take Piglet to work with me everyday in my bra. The only thing is that he's in a bra pouch. I wear my regular bra and then a sports bra over it. LOL Work doesn't know I take my baby everyday so the bra keeps me umm well up and supported while the sports bra keeps Piglet and his pouch secure. He loves it. I'm just waiting for the day someone says ummm, why do you have a strange 3rd hump..........Umm why are you looking at my chest and not my face? I think that would stop the questioning dead in its tracks........

im just curious how to get my husband to wear a bra. I guess my normal responce when someone is staring at my chest, no matter how long you talk to them they wont talk back, wouldnt apply if i had a glider in there.

You have been awake way too long! Hahahaha! I wonder if they have a 42 inch training bra! Course the babies would have to be separated, and the whole thing would just look funny!
Shawna Who are you networked with? Networking could save your gliders life. Create one now.
