Hi everyone! I'm here in Beaver Dam and have been fascinated by sugar gliders for many years, and have recently been seriously considering adopting one or perhaps a pair. Is there anybody willing to send me a list of REPUTABLE breeders in my area? (That would include Madison, Fond du Lac, POSSIBLY Milwaukee) Or else perhaps point me in the right direction to start my own search? I live in greenfield, been a wisconsinite my entire life...and boy, this year I am getting sick of the snow. I have 2 new sugar gliders (gizmo and gumdrop), 3 ferrets (frodo, skitzo, and cosmo), 2 cats (booger and morgan), a husband, a 2 year old son, and another son on the way. talk about a full house...lol

I don't think the snow will be gone before Serastes gets to Wisconsin. We got about 10 inches here yesterday and last night.

Thanks for the welcome, guys! The trip is officially underway... we made it most of the way today, but decided to stop in a hotel for the night... lots of driving will make you more tired than you might guess!  But, we should be there by early afternoon or so... I can't wait to see what it's like there!

I use the Veterinary College for my exotics. I take the parrots and the guinea pigs there. Haven't had the gliders there yet.
But with them seeing my exotics if I have an emergency I can just call and go.
I also think that a get together would be a great idea.

So, we finally got most of our stuff unloaded and some of it unpacked tonight, though that's probably the least amount of fun I've had with the move so far, lol. I wanted to get outside and play in the snow- it's been forever since I've seen this much of it! (even if it all is just in big piles along the sides of the road, for the most part)  The pets all did well with the move, and they're settling in nicely. And thanks, Pix and Feather, for help me with finding a vet around here!
