where can i find the plastic chain many of you use for toys and such? hardware or craft stores?

If you go to a pet store then they have lots of safe plastic chains in the bird section.

I buy mine at Lowes. It's the larger links which I prefer because of little feet getting caught in the small links. It only comes in yellow or white there though. Here is a link to some color chain in different sizes. It may not be the cheapest, I don't know. I bought the stuff at Home Depot that he was talking about to make toys for mine- not that I have them yet, so I dont know how they play with them, it was pretty cheap though, although it is pretty thick. But I dont have to worry about them eating the paint off since it is plastic. That link he gave looks like it would probably be better since it doesnt look so thick. Oh yeah, you can also use baby links for them to play with, if you were looking for something like that, they are a lot cheaper then bird links for more, and you can sometimes find them at yard sales. I bought a container of plastic chain from home depot for around 13 or 14 dollars and it was about 15 to 20 ft.. It comes in yellow or white small or large I got the larger links <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
