They were oop earlier this week. I know its normal for them to leave the babies, but they will letraly move into a different pouch or into the nest box and only take one joey. This has happend five times tonight. I never hear them fussing at the joeys and there are no bite marks or scratches. When I go and place the joey they have forgotten with them, they act like normal, cleaning it and feeding it.

She just moved again and only took one joey. The other was crabbing for a good 5 minutes and niether mom nor dad went to check. I took the little one out and tried to hand feed it, but it wouldnt take it. I finally put it back with mom and it just crawled on her and didnt try to nurse. I would understand if it was the same one every time, but its not. She doesnt seem to diferentate between the two. As long as one is "gone". PLEASE ADVISE! Should I pull one, try to suppliment them, what!!!????

sounds like you have multiple sleeping spots? Get rid of them and leave one. It sounds like you might be overreacting? Relax, gliders are more often than not, excellent parents. The joey is probably not being rejected. Are their eyes opened? If it's being rejected, you'll usually find it on the cage floor. I wouldn't pull any joey just yet. I'd actually try to let the parents handle their job and touch the joeys less if you're afraid of one getting rejected. If you want to supplement someone you should start with mom. Give here some extra worms or sprinkle a little wombaroo on her food.

Ernie is right I think. Remove all but one nest box. Make sure the nest box has nice cozy fleece for them all to cuddle in and see how things go.

Make it so there is only one sleeping pouch! If she refuses to feed one, you will know and there could be marks and noises for you to witness. Make sure the parents are getting enough food and water every night w/ extra protien (mealies) with their diet because she is nursing!

My gliders have two water bottles, are feed the BML diet plan with a pinkie mouse each every other night. (no meal worms for them...they dont care for them, plus pinkies are MUCH better) The parents are deffinatly not hungry. They always leave some every night. I have one sleeping pouch and one nest box. I like to give them variety. I will just keep checing on the joeys and hand feed them some if I feel it's nessacary.
