Hello. I'm Jenna and my mommy's account is crittermom. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />
You may have helped us when my mom posted our problem, but if you didn't, heres the story.
One night, around seven'o'clock, I go upstairs to feed the shuggs. We had two
pouches at the time because there were new pups that needed some adjustment. I set the food up on it's spot, and I happened to look down at one of the
pouches, when I saw the
slightest movemet. Thinking it was a baby, I gently rubbed the spot, and suddenly felt that the bump was too close to the outer liner of the pouch to just be in it.
So, I gently took the pouch to my mom, and she saw that Leila, our first ever joey, who was a year old then, stuck inside the stuffing of the fabric. We carefull cut off the fabric, but found she was barely concious. My mother, who is an R.N., found a special bag of fluids that the
vet had given her. We injected her with the fluids, and after a while she began to look better... then she had to start gasping for air. It was too icy outside to take her to the
vet. After about 20 min of harsh breathing, Leila died.
Rest In Peace, Leila. I <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/heartpump.gif" alt="" /> You. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hug2.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/needhug.gif" alt="" />
