I made no sew rept gear...cut a long piece of fleece about 6.5-7" wide. Figure out ho long you need to cut fringes and start cutting. When tying the knots in the fringes...use your pole so you know that you leave the correct amount of space to slide the gear on and off of the frame/poles. With the first fring you tie...tie a single knot, add a key ring and double knot. It will keep the key ring in place and tight. Tie fringes and add keyrings every three inches. I did this and I have ZERO problems hanging anything in my cage. It was time consuming, but turned out very nice and I am very happy with it. You will need a lot of fleece and a lot of key rings. When your pole is covered you can obviously stop tying and cut off any excess fleece. If you need more help let me know.
I don't use rept gear (I hate changing it and the gliders can climb plain PVC), it looks cool though. I braid fleece and criss cross it over the top of the cage with baby links securing them. I use two ropes per side and one diagonal just because it gives me more places to hang things down. I can hang anything (even heavy stuff). Has always worked really well for me and they are super easy to change so I never have to take the reptarium apart to clean it. Rept ropes Rept rope links

If we never loved, then maybe we would never feel pain. Love anyway. It's worth it.

When I built mine, I bought two 260 covers and sewed them together (I have a 520). You can just buy the covers if you like, but other than that, I'm not sure where you'd get a zipper that large.

I don't remember specifically who I bought it from. I know I bought one from an ebay seller, one from JKReptile, and the other I don't remember (although want to say it was a member on here). Check around in the classified section - most people who sell repts sell just the covers as well.

I make my own gear for my rept. It's very easy if you sew at all. You really just need to make sleeves for the pvc with attached rings. You know, sew em' inside out and then turn them right side out.....
I posted a pic somewhere around here yesterday or the day before with a pic.

For covers there rae some places that sell them online...you can check with Cindy/ GliderLove on here...she sells everything repts. www.freewebs.com/gliderlove1
I sewed some sleeves for my poles but left enough to have some fringe. I tie keyrings to the fringe where I need them and hang stuff from that. It would also work with the no-sew pole sleeves like Gwen says here

OK...so I promised pictures...here is my gear. I included a full pic of my rept, a top view and a close up of one of my pole covers. My floor WAS clean yesterday...but I have messy babies who have been throwing stuff on it already as you can see...lol.
Gwen your rep is awesome!!! Do you have a hard time taking the rep gear on and off for washing? I LOVE it!!! I can't wait to finish all my sewing orders, so I can have time to decorate my 520 rep!!
