Yesterday I got my stealth wheels. I actually got them from someone that said their babies wouldn't touch them. I am putting them in my kids cages tonight but I have a question. I'm gonna attach a picture of them so that you guys can help me out. This one is on a stand not like the ones on the website. Does anyone know how I can attach this one to the side of the cage? I know it's gonna have to come off the stand but I figured if anyone here had one like this then it would be really helpful to hear what you did to attach it. I would greatly appreciate your help!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't take he wheel off of the stand. They are designed to be hung from the cage using cable ties strung threw each of the 4 holes in the base. I recently just sold my stealth wheels, so I can't take a picture for you. Hopefully somebody that can take a picture will be along soon to show you how it's done.

I see what you're saying...you just kind of turn it sideways to either secure it to the side or top of the cage...But my question is this..my guys get kinda crazy in the wheel, is it safe to put it really high up? I'm scared if they fall out of it! Because they kind of fall out now, I don't know if it's on purpose though! I definitely need to secure it though because they push it all over the bottom of the cage.

Ahhhhh!!! I wasn't even thinking about hanging it from the top. I was thinking about hanging it from the side. As much as I steal hubby's zip ties and it didn't even dawn on me. I'm gonna blame it on being late last night when I looked at them. LOL. So ok, what if I didn't want it hanging from the top? I know....I'm having a brain [censored] but it's Friday right!! LOL.

I just set mine in the bottom and secured it there...

Yeah I think that's what I'm going to do...they get crazy in that thing! I don't want them getting hurt! Especially when they are pushing eachother out!

ours is hung from the top facing a wall but a few inches back.. they love it... they get absolutely insane in it and have from the moment it was put in the cage, I've never seen one fall off, though I thought I would a few times when akane wasn't runnig a straight line, but she corrected herself as she got close to the edge!

LOL. Mine love theirs wheels that are in there now. I couldn't stand the wodent........so loud and ewwwwww the smell. I got rid of those after only using them once. I just have plain mesh wheels in there so I hope they like the stealth. Shoot, I do and I can't even run in it. hehehee. The only thing is that when I spun it around last night just to kinda inspect the quietness and stuff.........it doesn't spin straight. It kinda wobbles when it spins. Do they all do this?
I appreciate everyone's responses to this. It's helping allot!!!!!!
Please take the mesh wheel out! Their little feet and tails can get caught and injure them. This actually happens quite often, not every once in a while!
Shawna Who are you networked with? Networking could save your gliders life. Create one now.
Shawna........I appreciate the warning but these aren't the mesh I'm sure you are thinking about. The openings are just like the stealth. That's one reason why I decided to get the stealth........the poo and pee falls through instead of spinning with them and on them. I make very sure everything in my cages are safe. Like you, I have rescues. One of my rescues is a 3-legged. I pay very close attention........trust me. I even get up like 3 times during the night just to double, triple check that their cages are closed up good. LOL Pretty bad when you wake up out of a dead sleep just to go check on the babies. But I do greatly appreciate your concern.
I guess I can't really describe it as a wabble but more of a spin that isn't straight. I guess its kinda like a tire on a care that when you see it going down the road looks like it's off a little. Does that even make any sense? LOL.
I think I know what you mean...but I'm not exactly sure why...mine goes pretty straight. But as long as it spins, it's quiet, and your guys love it, then hey!
