Diva was born almost 6 weeks ago and is eating and going potty on her own. I took the wheel out at the end of Mamas pregnancy just before Diva came oop. I was able to cut Mama's nails without a problem, but my male is a rescue and he doesnt hold still for nail trims so I use a wodent wheel with a nail-o-matic to keep his nails barable. I only use the nail-o-matic for 24 to 48 hours so it isnt that long, but when is it ok for me to replace the wheel anbd be safe for the baby? Thanks to all of you for helping our family. My Glider Album/ NEW Joey from the trip to the pouch to 6 weeks OOP

The only time I remove a wheel (other than to clean it), is when a glider has surgery--for me that's only been neutering. I only take the wheel out for a day or two. I'm a breeder, and leave my wheels in all the time.

Thank you so much. I had been putting the wheel in the tent and letting them play without the joey. This will be much easier. Can anyone tell me about Glider Colors. Diva has a very yellow head and neck, and now her back is turning yellow. She still has a white belly. Mama is Lion HET (Mama's Daddy was lion) We're keeping her, so there's no hurry to color clasify her, We just wondered if she is a lion or gray. You can see her color in this picture (above)...it goes almost to her front legs. Our Gallery...see a joey from Mama's pregnancy to OOP
