Some mommas will keep letting them in or shoving them back in till their ready for college. I think if that happens then they use the rule of thumb when the eyes open count back ten. I am sure there will be other opinions but that about the time line.

I would count them OOP on the same day. I'm sure you will see both babies out soon, usually if one has detached the other one probably has already been off too. If it does take longer before you see the other baby out just watch him and ask yourself if the joeys seem the same age. Do their eyes open at the same time, are they the same size, do they have the same amount of fuzz? All of our babies have come OOP the same day or possibly a day apart, I just figure I missed it when they were both out at the same time. They still stay with their mom most of the time at this young age.

A lot of breeders will count back 10 days from when they joey's eyes open, this makes it a little more consistent between moms that keep them longer and kick out early.

Okay, I posted pictures of the peanuts in Talk and Travel. I've picked names too with help from my 4 year old! lol The little tip is Chiquita And the larger tip is Phoenix Twin girls. They are such sweeties. Its so cute when they start to root for a nipple. I remember that from when my boy was a baby! lol They are so sweet when they are babies aren't they?
