Hey there, anyone from GEORGIA have sugar gliders here?

As far as I know they're illegal, but I'm not sure if they are legal with some sort of license or something. The state of GA doesn't seem to know where to send me for such info... (not surprising hm?)

About breeders..

So if I'm in an illegal state, are there certain breeders that won't sell me a sugar glider?

How do I get around this issue?

YEAH!!! I see SO many SO CAL GC Members!!! Low post counts though I hope some of them are still active! PM if your still around!!! It would be cool to get together!

I belong to another site centered around a breed of dog and have been a VERY active member for years, I've traveled as far as New york to meet members! lol I've made some amazing friends! Been in some railroads and helped out members in need. These online communities are awesome... I'm looking forward to getting to know my local members!

Hey do you live in cali? I am moving from oregon to cali the beginning of the year and i saw that suggies are illegal in cali? What would i need to do to have them there if possible? I don't know about being illegal or legal in Pennsylvania but here in Sugsylvania Mayor Fuzzbutt says they are perfectly legal.

I was curious if anyone here is from southern California (specifically around orange county). I am looking for a glider owner in the area who wouldn't mind me stopping by and seeing their gliders. I hope to get a pair in the future, but have yet to see any in person.

yah, I am aware but i have seen many a post of owners in Cali and local animal control says there are tons and they aren't too concerned about it.

if anybody in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery or Delaware County is looking for a vet that treats Gliders I found one on Street Road in Trevose.

They do exams and will cut nails (which is what I was looking for when I found them) They will cut the nails for $18.00 per glider. They were very nice on the phone I called 9 vets in the philadelphia area and nobody wanted to treat gliders. If you need anything else just drop me an e mail and I will see what I can do.

Yeah, that place is pretty good. I also added the vet in Newtown to the GC vet Database a while back. They're pretty good, too. I don't need to have their nails cut though cause I use the Nail Trimmer Wodent Wheel when needed.

OOPS. Near Philly, U PENN Will also examine, neuter, whatever, but not cheap. Whoever said you can't buy love never shopped at a pet store.

Anybody in Nor Cal? Like...near Tahoe or Sac? I see a ton of posts for So Cal, but none for Nor Cal.

Does anyone know if suggies are legal in Mississippi? or the best way to find out?

I know they are legal in the state,,, as for individual counties or cities I think you would need to ask ,,,, I live in Desoto County , southaven to be exact and they are legal here. There are also 2 really good suggie vets close by as well.
