I've always wanted to do real trees or plants, but don't want to worry about keeping them alive, keeping them clean, etc. Would fake trees or plants work??? I'm thinking it would take a lot less work cleaning the stool and urine off of the leaves since I can just soak it in my bathtub in some vinegar and water.

Let me all know what you think My cage is looking bare and thought this would be fun for everyone.

I think it'd be ok, as long as it had no wires in it *I just heard that somewhere on here*

Hi Tina!

I really like the idea of fake plants too. As long as they don't have metal inside them, they should be o.k. You can find some at GliderDayDreams.com (in the toy section) I like the earthy look they give to the cage And it seems like they'd be a lot easier to clean than live plants. LOL The best part is they won't die on you. It would be fun to dress up a cage with them--I really want to weave them in a corner of the cage to make a ledge type thing. And to have some (securely) hanging from the top of the cage would be cool.

sounds like a good plan Ariana. I saw some at work today and thought it would be cool. I def. don't want plants dying on me or getting weird looking after being peed on. LOL

Thanks for the suggestions and advice!
