Hello everybody,
I wonder if infrared lights can be dangerous for the eyes of the sugars ?
What about moonlight bulbs ?

Hmm. Not sure, although I do know that overexposure to any light source in the infrared or visible spectrum can damage human eyes...

I personally do not use any special light for mine and they are just fine. Of course, I don't have all the lights on brightest when they are up but so far they don't seem bothered by normal light. [/]

You may want to consider something as simple as red cellophane over a fluorescent light. Many nocturnal animals are "red blind". A red filter over a dim light is used in alot of nocturnal exhibits.

i use the red bulbs from the dollar store. i like them because i have 2 red, and one regular so when i go in at night time i turn off the regular, and on with the red, and they dont go right into thier pouch.
