so.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> wire is ok to have at the bottom of your cage? this doesn't hurt their feet? should you have some fleece in a corner or something to give them a flat place to stand as well?

our entire cage- bottom as well as sides is made of vinyl coated wire. I wouldn't use uncoated wire for other issues, but its better to have their poop, etc fall through then for them to be standing in it...

They will be fine on the wire but I also provide fleece ledges for them as well as fleece "rugs" in the bottom. I imagine the fleece rugs are more comfortable because that is where they will usually sit to eat.
