Where's the best place to get cheap fleece? And what is considered "cheap"? I've never bought fleece before.

Watch for it to go on sale at Walmart, JoAnn's, Hancock, Hobby Lobby. Fleece isn't cheap though, unfortunately. It usually runs between $7 - $12 a yard (full price). You can do ok at a sale though, good luck!

I always dig through the reminence part that is usually on discount as well.
Wal-Mart (some of them) has fleece for $2.74/yard for the thinner fleece which is okay if you are double lining them (as in seamless) and some thicker and nice prints are $4.44/yard. The others are no more than $7.49/yard. I have never seen it more expensive there.
Have fun!

I'm actually not making pouches. I'm going to make some toys for the new cage once it gets here.

I check out "fleece lot" on Ebay. Last time I won 17 yards of fleece for $20, plus it was local, so I didn't have to pay for shipping.

I have gone to buying all anti pill fleece. It is much softer and holds up to washing much better. It is usually in the 7-12 dollar range but JoAnns often has it on sale for much less. Watch for the sales! Walmart often has the anti pill too and it is usually about $8 a yard.

I got some at walmart. Everybody kept asking me "What are you making?" And I kept thinking "Just stop asking me! It's not what you think!" Because everytime I told someone, they were like "What's a sugar glider?" LOL
