I have had my gliders for almost 3 weeks. They are young (oop June 25) and I just bought them a Wodent Wheel with the nail trimmer sheet in it. They love to run inside and flop over on their backs and take a bath, roll around and play with each other and they even climb on the center axle and then fall down again. BUT, they won't run on it. I have had it in there for a few days now because they have yet to run on it. Is this hopeless or should I hope they eventually figure it out? Poor little clueless gliders. But hey, they're really cute!

They'll probably figure it out on there own, all of mine have. But even once they figure it out you'll still see them flinging each other around and rolling around inside the wheel!
If they don't seem to be getting it you can always hold a treat out in front of them and try to get them to chase you for it while they are in their wheel.

Yeah, I agree, all of mine have figured it out all by themselves. I don't use the Wodent Wheel, but they get it and they will only run in it if they are SUPER bored. Otherwise, their large cage and out of cage time every night is plenty of exercise for them. :o)
Maybe once they are in there, just kind of gently spin the wheel so they understand that it does move. LOL

I was having the same problem... he would go in there but not run and jump right back out. So last night I brought my second Wodent Wheel into the tent with us and he done a few laps . Maybe you could try to put some sticky licky treats along the inside, then they will have to walk around the wheel to get it .
