I am really having a hard time finding a food and water dish that you can hang in my babies cage. I had the water and nectur dish on a metal shelf, but they kept knocking them down. Any ideas?

I used to use a "coop cup" that are used in bird flight cages. They have a metal ring that hooks onto the bars of your cage and then the actual metal dish that goes inside of the holder so it does not budge.

My work has them and they run about $4.00 give or take for one dish.

Now, I use 4 inch shallow ceramic dishes made by Super Pets that are big enough to hold food and or water for 2 suggies and are heavy enough that when they perch on the sides of the dish they cannot fall over.

I use cereamic crocks that are sold at meijers as condiment cups and in with the creme brulee cups (but they are smaller then that) at kitchen stores... they only knocked those over once. They did knock one off a shelf once. then e put a lip on the shelves, but the food was catching and getting smelly, so now we do large plastic bowls on a plastic hardware cloth shelf I configured with 3 sides.. and their crocks go in and I can wash the plastic every 2-3 days (we have 2 sets) and wash the plastic hardware clotha dn polar fleece shelf part in the washing machine on cage cleaning day...

I'm going to be making some ceramic food dishes for gliders soon. I raffled a couple at the SGGA. I know Peggy got one, but I'm not sure who got the other.

Here's a pic.

Speaking of, Super Pets makes these really cute food dishes that look like sushi bowls. They are called "Sushi Pets" SOOOO- Cute! I'll have to buy one for Chance and Hope and show ya'll.
