I've been trying to share the story of my gliders' injuries by posting photos in the gallery, but I'm not having any success. Here is a link to their story in pictures. I hope this works. My Album PS: If this needs to be moved to another forum, please do. I wasn't sure where to post it. Thanks.

Thanks all, I just want folks to know glider injuries can take a loooong time to heal, and chronic or returning infection can be a real problem. Keep treating them and don't give up!

What were these abscesses from? Just over-grooming? Poor things!

Truthfully, I'm not sure. There was nothing in the cage they could have injured themselves on. I believe the family dynamics changed for some reason, though they had all been together since 2003. Once Delta & Blinken were removed and put together in a separate cage, the other three have been fine. Both males were neutered, but the eldest male died inexplicably in his pouch, after the girls were separated. This is the first time I've had a problem with this group, so I'm really perplexed.....and sad.
