This warning is especially for those glider owners that leave their shredder in automatic (it turns on when something is inserted) Be careful! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

OMG Randy, that is true, i don't have one, but thought about getting one, and i have to say it's a good thing you're pointing this out.

How on earth did come to think of that scenario tho ?

All of the shredders that I have ever seen have an auto mode. To be safe, you need to unplug your shredder when not using it. [/]

Yes, we have an industrial shredder and I've always had Kev shut it off. If any of our pets got loose and near it it could be the end of them. I think the manuafactuers should make them with lockable covers.
