I made my repts using pvc pipe. (See cage gallery in siggy) I went for the 260 gallon because I have the extra room, but for 2 gliders the 175 gallon (that's the one that's 4', correct?) would be enough. As you said, though...bigger is always better. Zip ties are the best things ever invented. I have used many zip ties in my rept. See my gallery for more on how I hang things like water bottles, bowls, shelves, wheels, and such. I hope that helped. GC has many creative members and I'm sure more will be along with great ideas for you.

I have the 175 for two. they've only been in there for a week, but they haven't chewed yet (knock on wood!!!!!). They seem to like the mesh for climbing cause it has good grip. the fruit flies have also gone away. I'm not sure whether that has anything to do with the mesh, though. I can always hope . I have everything hanging from the pipes. I'm a little weary of hanging anything directly from the mesh, though i know others on here have done it to no ill effect. there's a good thread about how to hang things somewhere around here. My biggest complaint is that on the website (LLLReptiles) it was going for $90 or something, but after exchange, increased shipping ($10 to $25), and customs it came to closer to $160 or so. then i had to get the softray from a local place (my own stupidity, cause i forgot to order it on line. but i'm sure it wouldn't have been any cheaper) for $30. so all in all, i ended up paying way less than for a wire cage of the same size, but i also paid much much more than i had originally expected.

I have my two babies in a 260gal reptarium and they LOVE the room. I found it on ebay for $75 so I just couldn't resist going the biggest possible. I've also found that they like running around on the sides better because they can grip the mesh effortlessly unlike with cage bars.

We just got the 260 gal on Friday. We put the family in there on Saturday morning and they couldn't be happier! To hang things we used zip ties to attach a length of pastic chain diagonally across the very top, then another length diagonally across the middle brace bars. We got the chain at Home Depot (or Lowe's I forget which) for $15 for 15 feet. It's either 1" or 1/5". For a feeding station we're using a larger sized ferrett litterbox. We ziptied it to the middle pipes in a corner. It tilts a little, so we've still got some work to do on that one. For water I got a bird cup that hangs from the feeding station (they don't use the bottle).
