I have a cage 3 1/4 ft. tall, 1 1/2 ft. deep, and 2 1/4 ft. wide. how many gliders could i fit in a cage this size?

I also have 2 other cages that are about 1/2 that size how many could i fit in those?

You're really only supposed to put 2 in a cage that size and they say not to use anything smaller than 2x2x3. My cage is 6 feet tall and about 4 feet accross and can fit up to 6 but honestly my 2 seem to need more room some times!

Just a thought, maybe you could sell the 2 smaller cages and get one larger one? That might be something to try.

Good luck!

I have to agree with Amy. The 2 smaller ones are WAY to small for a glider. That would be confining them to space that is uncomfortable. Kind of like us living in our bathrooms or something. As far as the bigger one goes, I'd only stick one in there MAYBE 2.

my cage is about 5 ft tall, by 3 foot wide and 2 foot deep. i only hav 2 in there, and they seem to use it all. so i would go with the selling the 2 smaller ones and getting a bigger one.

The larger cage is an okay size for a pair or maybe a trio, but I wouldn't put any more than 3 gliders in there... How big are the other cages actually? My cages are roughly about 1.5 x 1.5 x 3. They are the smallest I will personally go for a pair or single glider, but the again, I have 8 cages of gliders right now...

How much you could get for the smaller cages all depends on how they are made and what condition they are in.

I've heard of some good deals for cages on Ebay.

I'm going to be making a couple of PVC coated wire cages 36" X 23" X 48" with two shelves and a ramp built in and selling them for around $100 each at the Sugar Glider Retreat.
