Can i put pine shavings in the tray where the "mess" goes. or aspen or any kinda wood other then newspaper of paper towels. i am just wondering to absorb the smell.????

Aspen. Pine and cedar are not recommended for small animals b/c there is an odor that is released that could potentially lead to upper respitory issues later on in life. Aspen is 100% safe and that is what I used. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
