I think Q-tee is going to be rejected. They leave the lil guy alone to eat and play. I just looked at Q-tee because it was crying and mom & dad did nothing. While I had the baby out I saw it's lil tummy was all wrinkled up and looked empty. What do I do? Do I need to start feeding it a few times a day to help out mommy? If so how do I make baby BML or is it the ssame just without egg shell? Please help I don't want Q-tee To die!...

Ok how old is he? Do you have any Wombaroo milk? how long do they leave him alone for? Is he nursing at all? Does Mom crab at him or bite him at all? These questions will let us better help you.

It has been 12 days since I first saw the baby oop. no I don't have the milk. Going to the pet store today when I get a ride. The leave him for I a half an hour that I have seen. They don't always come when it cries. He is nursing some but it's belly is still small and wrinkled. Yes mom does crab a bit and I have seen her nip at the baby. I hope she isn't rejecting. What do you think?

Follow the directions for baby bml and add the puppy milk, you can get that from the pet store, its called esbilac (sp.), puppy replacement milk. I would also go ahead and order the wombaroo and just use the esbilac until you get. I would not take him totaly away if he is still nursing. http://www.crittervillerescue.com/joeys/instructions.htmThis is To and Fro Gliders rescue Joey page: http://www.toandfrogliders.com/FileHierarchy/InfoPouch/RejectedJoeys.htmMix your formula, heat it as directed, and syringe or eye drop small litte bits to him. He may not eat well at first but as soon as he gets used to it, he will love it. The ones I had to supplement, were never rescued from mom and dad, but I was prepared just in case. You also need to warm the baby up prior to trying to feed, as his food will not digest if he is cold. Please follow these diretcions, and feed supplements before you think about rescuing away from the parents. He really would be better off if he stays with them and you feed supplements every few hours. Keep us updated!

Hmmmm, with him only 12 days old, I'm not sure I would introduce the BML just yet - perhaps just the Esibilac until the Wombaroo arrives. I would feed every 3 hours, leaving him with the parents, sounds like Mom is low on milk. I would also recommend contacting Sheila Wilson at To and Fro Gliders, her conact info is on her site (linked above).

Ok I just got off the phone with all the pet stores by me and I can't find any of the types of milk you said to get. Now what do I do? I have no car so I guess this baby will be a loss. Breaks my heart that the pet stores here suck . I have nothing I can do. Thanks for the help anyway.

If you check oout this Link it tells you how to feed a rejected joey and how to make the baby bml, which you will have to get the puppy milk replacer. You should also check out Joey growth so you can compare the development and what to expect
