Vines from Wal-Mart or Michael's #65580

I was picking up some glider supplies from Wal-Mart the other day, and I saw big, long vines in various colors with lots of leaves on them. I only glanced at them, though. Does anybody know if these are safe in a cage?
With it being Fall, I'm sure Michael's has this type of product too. Any experience with it?

Thanks,
~B

They're great! I found really great ones at the Dollar Tree over here, they're really long and only $1!

Please use vines that don't have wire. Some gliders will chew the through to the wire.........Not Good!
Vines without wire are hard to find .......but they are out there.

actually at michaels I found wireless vines that had chain link in the center (plastic) but we haven't given them to the gliders yet- they are one of the toys for when we go home from this trip

I looked at the vines at WalMart the other day and every one of them had plastic vines and leaf stems (I don't think there was any wire), but the leaves seemed to be made of some kind of fabric - don't know what it was. Wasn't sure it was safe for a glider, so didn't buy any.

So the vines with leaves that "pop" off are okay to use in the cage?
