They've got some good stuff at Rockport Roost. It's actually the site of a bird breeder, but they have bird toy making supplies such as beads, bells, clips, and all sorts of accessories. I ordered from them and I'm VERY happy with my order! As for plastic hardware cloth, I just get that at Menard's (a store similar to Home Depot...I've only ever seen them in upper Michigan and Wisconsin). Good luck finding some cool stuff! Kristy

You can also check out Chopperstoys.com. They don't carry the 1" chain though. Does anyone know where to get the plastic "S" links to hook together the plastic chain? Btw Callejean, I was over on your site and found some neat stuff, so you'll be hearing from me soon!

Alright! Thanks for sharing the links with us! You can also get a few in the packages that have the hanging stuffed animal chains at the Dollar Tree. It would be much better though to order as many as you want and in colors too!

I have found alot of supplies but have not found the large acrylic rings. Anyone know where I can get them. I'm not going to sell any toys I just want to make some for my own suggies and some for rescue suggies.

If you have a dollar store near you those a good places also goodwill/salvation army for odd ball stuff. Garage sells/fleamarkets are another fun place. Strangely I use shower curtain plastic rings from walmart/target. They clip together nicely and are fairly inexpensive. Happy crafting on some toys.
