I got a 30"x16"x48" today for $55 on ebay. Is it too small? Next size up was 30"x30"x48" or 30"x30"x71" but those would take up my whole bedroom. If its as easy to put up and down. (as it claims) I can eventually buy a larger one and switch cages every so often so my room isnt taken over 100% of the time. Does this make sense to any one? Now my question is.. How shall i hang the toys? Im pretty sure the hooks I have now wont fit the screen. Can I use saftey pins? Does anyone know how much weight the top will hold? my toys are pretty heavy. If anyone uses Reptariums- Is it truely easy to build? and what do you put on the floor. i wanted to fill it with Carefresh bedding. Oh will my girls will mind me switching their cages every few months or so (if and when i get the larger cage?) prob. 30x30x71

You can use small plastic chains strung across (attached to the pvc poles) the top to hang pouches by. I found some plastic feeding dishes at Petsmart that have hooks that are skinny enough to fit through the mesh, although they are small. I use these for their glider cereal that I keep in there. If your reptarium has the extra poles around the middle top, you can craft ledges to rest on these poles. You need to have a way to secure them!!! I reccomend using zip ties. Otherwise, there are ways to build ledges from the ground up. I was using the soft tray with my reptarium until recently. Their droppings kept falling inbetween the mesh and the tray, and under the poles at the bottom. I'm using a double thick piece of fleece I've sewn to fit the bottom of the cage, so I just take it out and shake it off, turn it over and use the other side, and then I put in a new one after that and wash the old one. I have a few of these. It would be best if you could get the 260 gallon. It won't take up as much room as you think. They will enjoy this much more because they will have more room to play

haha i am answering my own post! I got the Reptarium yesterday. I decided NOT to use it as their cage. I cant trust my cats around it they dig their claws in the mesh and get them stuck! also most of my gliders items include clamp on branches and ledges and such items that the mesh simply cannot hold. not to mention i have to cut the mesh up a bit to get the clamps through and i like to move everything around about every other day so after a month i would have too many holes!!!! However i do LOVE the reptarium the girls can climb it well. I use it as a playpen its lightweight so i can carry it wherever i go. Plus its dark screened and since my girls are up during the day the screen helps darken the room and is easier on their eyes. So all and all I DO think highly of reptariums, I just dont think they work well for everyone.
