My two girls are very sweet, and neither has ever bit me. However, I've started to notice...one of them is pretty crabby! When I open the pouch...when I peek in my shirt as she is sleeping...when I jostle them or make to much noise while getting things in/out of their cage...she yells at me pretty loud for it! Also, the crabby one is the one who always burrows deep into the pouch when I'm trying to transfer her to my bra or give her a treat...whereas the other one is excited to come out and play!

Is she 'pouch protective' or just shy? Would a pouch-protective pouch be helpful to her? Also, would it effect my other bebe who isn't as crabby?

Coming from all the posts I read today it sounds like she is pouch protective. Many like the PPP because it does work. i have not used the PPP. If you want an alternative this is what I did for my duckie when he was like that.

I simply put my hand flat and slow and let her come to you. I would start off with licky treats like yogart or something she likes. I found that if you just stick your hand in there it scares them. After I did this (always slow and to her pace) she will not only let you look at her but she will enjoy you coming to pet her without crabbing.

Bourbon is an excellent Glider Expert. I would ask them for more accurate advice.
This is just what I did for my suggie to allow me to look and touch him with out bites or crabbing.
