Pedialyte is best, most gliders like the apple flavor more than other flavors. Using a syringe is the easiest way to see how much he is drinking. If he is dehydrated, you need to figure out why. Are there any other symptoms? Dehydration can be a first sign of something else going on. I would strongly recommend a vet visit today to check fecals and have a urinalysis done to make sure there isn't anything wrong that could be causing him to be losing fluids.

I know many people recommend the tent test, but it's not 100% accurate. If you are concerned, you should take your baby to the vet. Gliders do not drink alot of water - they get much of their hydration from their food (depending on what diet you feed). He was drinking the apple juice/water mix because it was sweet and a treat - not because he needed the hydration. A glider should always have regular water available at all times. If you feel you want the apple juice, it should be offered in addition to water, not instead.
