Which license are you suppose to get? I call and they told me a broker license. But that did not make much since to me. Is that right?

are you breeding?
A broker's license is for if you get gliders from someone and then resell them. If you aren't selling for friends, you don't need a broker's license!

Yes I am breeding. They are my sugar gliders. I told them that and they told me I had to get the brokers license. What should I do?

If you have 4 or more breeding females (any sort of females that aren't spayed, which gliders should never be, even if you aren't breeding them at the time), you'll need a breeders license. However, to be quite honest, a USDA license doesn't hold much water with me, since they're not very glider-knowledgeable in general. But, I guess it's the law... so you'll need one nevertheless. I've never gotten one, since I've only had three joeys, and I'm done, so you'll have to wait for one of the more experienced breeders to come along and help, I'm afraid. Good luck with getting it!

If you are breeding, you need to apply for a breeder's license (A). You only need a broker's license (B) if a majority of your business comes from buying/selling other animals OR if you show your animals often (at schools or for profit).

If we never loved, then maybe we would never feel pain. Love anyway. It's worth it.

No you need to have 3 or more breeding pair to require a license. How old are yours? Welcome to GC!
