I am thinking about getting this cage… as a second cage…. If I expand my ‘family’ so I am looking for input… I have the Hex cage from Suncoast… so I think I am feeling guilty about this cage being smaller,,,,, but we enjoy plenty of – out of cage time – so any input is appreciated…

Those are nice cages. They are well built and I love what they are made out of. I do think there was just a post about a joey escaping around the doors but they should be fine for adult gliders (there is a way to add mesh to prevent escaping joeys).

Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.

That is the cage I have for my two suggies. "We" couldn't be happier with it. Plenty of room for everything (feeding station on one side, Wodent Wheel of the other, 2 hanging ropes, 2 water bottles, a hang down climbing rope toy in middle of cage, a pouch in middle on rear side. Cleaning the bottle tray is quick and easy. Carrying it down and outside with hubbie on one end an easy task. I too get them out several hours a day to have more play room, but don't feel they are deprived of space to move around, climb, jump, while in their cage during the night. Hope this helps with decision. I think you would be pleased with it.

Forgot to say that I would attach a picture of my cage all decked out IF I knew how to do so. Is it the same process as attaching to an email, (anyone???)

Roo it kind of is. When you hit the continue button make sure the box above it that says "I want to preview my post and/or attach a file" is marked. Then you will be able to view your post. Underneath the view post there is a box to add pictures to... click browse and browse through your pictures.... select the one you want and then continue...

I hope I explained it well...

And John that is a nice cage... Bigger is always better though so if you have the room and money for another Hex cage I would get one of them....lol Those are the size of cage I have all my gliders in and the are pretty happy with them..

John, we have that cage that came with our 6 yr old female, Mogwai, that we got early August. We have six pvc coated wire cages and two BetsyCC cages (BetsyCC is no longer in business for a long time now) and now this cage. I must say that I hate this cage, cuz the wire is powder coated and very noisy. The metal of this cage that John posted is very rattling. I do not know how long Mogwai and her mate were in this cage but I can see the rust in this cage. Although the size of the cage is very nice and the size of the doors is adequate for putting in wheels and toys, but both Marvin and I do not like this cage. When we have time, we will replace this cage with another pvc coated wire cage and get rid of this one. Just my two cents.

Yup yup, in this forum top too. I put extra mesh on the front part of the cage and thats all it needed. You can check out the post I have and look at the picture and color coding tto clue you in. The topic is title Cage Warning
