I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this ,but feel free to move it if you want. I was wondering if I could put a stuffed animal in with my little ones. If I would to cut off any parts that might be hazardous to them like the plastic eyes, nose, tags etc. ,and if i had someone sew it up really good could they keep it in their cage? Or is this a big no no? Should i only let them play with it with supervision? And a few more things what about little pom pom ball type things are these fine to keep in their cage or again only with supervison? Um..trying to think of a few other things.... Feathers? I have a giant feather that they like to chase and pounce on and they have a blast playing with it. Would it be okay if I make a little toy that has a few feathers on it and leave it in their cage? And what should i make a nest box out of? What kind of would, Do i shallack(sp?) it? how many times...blah blah blah... any anwsers or suggestions on easy toys or to any of my questions i'd really appreciate it! Thanks! <-- I love the little graemlins

All our glider kids have stuffed animals We buy the ones in the baby department made for newborns. (nothing with gel in it like some teethers though) ...they have the keys, links, zoo animals...you name it. Most things you find for newborns are very very soft too and they love to cuddle with the little toys!
Glider Kids - Badger and Bonnie, Pepsi and Grace, Victoria.. ahem..I mean ummm..Victor! and Isabella

you will need to be carefull. Some gliders love to chew through to the stuffing and pull it out. This could cause a lot of problems. If your gliders are not chewers then it should be fine. Just watch the stuff animal for any signs of wholes and if you find one take it out so they do not end up hurting themselves with the stuffing (I don't know if "stuffing" is even the right word lol)

Some stuffed animals are stuffed with plastic pellets, like Beanie Babies. The plastic pellets need to be removed and replaced with polyfill (white fluff used as stuffing in stuffed animals) and sewn back shut. I wouldn't use the stuffed animals if the gliders are chewers, for safety reasons. If it were up to me, I would use pieces of fleece as stuffing instead of polyfill. That way I wouldn't have to worry as much.
