I've noticed with Sally a different behavior. She will lift her tail slightly & then do a thumping/vibrating of her potty area. Does anyone know what this means? I can only think of 2 things- Potty problems or she's in heat.

The only changes in the last few days-
a new pouch given to them-
offered cook sweet potatoes to them 1st time
& introduction to Serenity

This am she was up very late & doing this behavior- she was already up this pm when I fed them so I couldn't do a potty monitor but she is still doing this action.

Her moods are still the same- no changes or any attitude changes.

Hope someone can help <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

ROFL, I am laughing because I was concerned when I first saw this behavior. This is commonly called "the buttdance". She is using her clocoa area scent glands to mark. Normal behavior and so cute! Wait until she starts going side to side while doing this.

Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.

I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance

So how long do they usally feel like dancing? This is just so odd to me- have had them 9ms and never seen Sally like this till introductions with Serenity (girl 2ms).

She is definitely marking her territory! My Petunia has been doing this all over the room since I got Kahlua. She is not to happy with the female competition for Max's attention. He, of course is loving it (typical guy! LOL)
It is the cutest thing to watch. It makes me laugh all the time.
