I did lose a little one. He was just getting his personality. He was soooooo cute too. I don't want to go into what happened but he did not live long enough. The thing I think most about is that his personality was just different. I was just like his mom. I got him very young and I fed him through a dropper. He used to run up, down and all around. I took him everywhere with me, including shopping at Walmart, etc. My daughter came over and forgot to put the toilet seat down and the next day it took my breath away. He was so cute and gentle. I cannot even look forward to think of what he might be like now. I do miss him a lot. He was a really nice, easy going, guy (tears flowing.)I truly hope he comes back as another Glider as he was getting to be quite a character. The more that people knew him the more they missed him. I miss him most. :O(

Oh how I feel for you. Many a glider has passed from this unfortunate accident.

May time heal your heart and ease the pain. I hope someday...you will be able to get another glider when the time is right.

Thank you to all of you who read his memorial. I feel a little foolish feeling so sad but reading and thinking about him gets me, again, and Still. It is just that they are so innocent and they depend on us to make sure things like that do not happen to them.

Thank all of you.

Please don't feel foolish posting a memorial or tribute to your little one. It's so important that they be remembered -- and it's never silly to have loved. I'm sorry for your loss, and hope the memories of your little character will bring you warmth.

Tragedy strikes and then we are left only with memories: heart-felt memories that make us smile after our hearts mend. I'm so sorry for the loss of your wee one - remember the Bridge and how happy he must be right now as he watches, patiently, for you to join him in his Paradise. Allow your heart to mend and remember all your good times - someday you will see him again!

My thoughts are with you.
Unfortunately, accidents happen. Perhaps your story will help save other precious gliders in the future. Thank you for the reminder.

I am sooo very sorry to hear about your tragic loss...I've had a few close calls with mine also, no matter how careful I try to be...Fortunately, I have never lost any, but the outcome could have been quite different in a few cases...I have four cats which I constantly have to be aware of...I also have a few "escape artists"...Just this morning, I went into their enclosure as usual to hand-feed their crickets & mealies...All of a sudden, out of the corner of my eye, I spoted a lil one outside the enclosure...I never noticed his escape...I usually always shut the computer room door when I play with my gliders just to be on the safe side...However, sometimes I fail to...And, I also know what you mean when your said he was forming his personality...We especially notice this when we raise our lil ones from birth...I've raised & handled all of my seven babies from day three and watched their personalities form...Even though I presently have ten, I would be heartbroken if I lost any one of them to a tragic accident such as yours, and sympathize with your loss...
