<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nixweiss.gif" alt="" /> wire cutters will not do, i want a nice clean cut that will not take a long time, the mesh i got it green coated wire and is 1/2 by 1/2 inch thick, i'm thinking an electric saw? but don't know for sure any suggestions thanks much! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" />

Wire cutters work just fine for this application...I used them and had no problems!

I also used wire cutters and it worked fine. Just hold them close to the end where you are cutting. If you are having problems using them, it may be you need sharper wire cutters. The green mesh snips real easy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />

we use 2 things- if I'm not worried about the ends catching or detailed cuts I use tin snips... if I am worried I use a pair of diaganol cutters on each edge.....

don't any of your hands start to hurt, the one's i've got our so big and i've got to cut quite a bit five feet by five feet and have probably a good 50 feet of it and have to make it fit my demensions of the 5 feet by 5 feet by 2 feet cage , and it's not thin wire it's thicker than a bird cage wire by a little bit <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nixweiss.gif" alt="" /> but maybe i don't have the right type of wire cutters that could be too! so i'll definately keep looking incase that's the problem thanks for the help <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" />

the tin snips hurt more to me.. but the diaganol cutters only pain I found was stuff from my arthritis for repetitive squeezing.. Bill did more then me so he can tell you more..
