I have a couple of them but none of the others are like Rei. What do you do with a female who is so strong of an Alpha glider that she drives you to the point of separating her from the only mate she knows? i've only seen her to worsen since I've gotten her. When I got the girls, sugarfairy told me one was food aggressive (Rei) I hadn't witnessed it before other than with treats but have been watching them closely. Well she's gotten so bad that she doesn't let Paine come out of the pouch to eat or play, she won't accept any other gliders I try to intro them to, or they won't accept her. I came home from the sgr to Paine having small indentations & the start of overgrooming & she has lost weight. I just can't keep them together any longer. Paine tried to stick up for herself the other night and they fought aggressively until I separated them. Checkers was perfect timing- I was going to intro him to both the girls but seeing how bad Rei is becoming I'm afraid of her being too much for him also. So I started new intro's today. Checkers & Paine are doing well so far but no luck with Rei and the last pair of gliders I could try her with. Rei was so against the intro's she was attacking their blankies. So we are going to try the slower way with side by side cages & pouch swapping but that didn't work with another pair I tried to pair the girls with. Maybe a little alone time will help calm Rei down. She is a sweet glider, very friendly, just too bossy for other gliders. I sure hope I can find a mate or 2 that can handle her. Any ideas

Nancy, some gliders are just such strong Alphas that they can't be with other gliders at all. My Mareki is that way. I tried her with multiple gliders and she was too dominant for all of them, including a neutered male Finally, I had Teresa/Dancing custom make a Glider Condo Reptarium for me. It has two sides with a mesh wall between them. On one side, Mareki dwells; on the other, Darwin & Nara dwell. They do very well with this arrangement - it gives Mareki the socialization she needs without the ability to do any harm to the other gliders.
