I just bought Bandit a plastic ladder from Petsmart.it is actually for small birds but I thought Bandit would love it and he did there are spiny things at each ends of the ladder and the ladder has 3 pieces to it so you can make it any you want to. he absolutely loves it. they can have plastic toys cant they?..b/c he would be devastated if I took it out.

plastic ladders are fine as long as he isnot chewing on it in case pieces come off and get lodged in his throat or anything. I also have that ladder and my babies love it!

I have mine hanging on the side of the reptarium (connected to two of the plastic kids links that open). They love jumping from one side onto the ladder and scurrying up or down. Janet
